Aleš Valenta is a well-known Czech moderator, businessman and famous sportsman. At the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City he won the Olympic gold medal in acrobatic jumping. He built and operates the unique Acrobat Park sports centre in Štíty - the largest complex in the world for training and competitions in acrobatic skiing, snowboarding and other sports. But we talked to him mainly about hydrogen, as he is also the marketing director of H2 Global Group.

In an interview for idnes.cz/5plus2 you said that you think "life should be varied and we should take on new and new challenges". As a well-known and successful sportsman, entrepreneur and presenter, what is the challenge of molecular hydrogen for you? Why did you decide to accept the position of Marketing Director of H2 Global Group?

I am not the type of person who likes to just "keep things going". I don't enjoy that. I like to be able to build something, to develop something. Molecular hydrogen fulfils several factors. It's a relatively new industry with a lot of potential and I believe I can help to expand it in a big way.

What is the current awareness of molecular hydrogen among people in the country and around the world?

Awareness is still too poor to measure it in any substantial way. Most people associate hydrogen with the automotive industry. Our most important, but at the same time most difficult mission is to raise awareness and popularise molecular hydrogen as a substance that helps the human body.

Can you tell us which well-known athletes in the country and around the world use molecular hydrogen?

As in many cases, athletes keep their "secrets". However, the positive effects benefit, for example, extra-league hockey player Vladimír Dravecký or first league footballer Filip Kaša. We know that even footballers from top German clubs or the English Premier League routinely use hydrogen.

Which molecular hydrogen products do you personally use and why?

I use only our own products, of course, because I know their composition perfectly. You can commonly find H2 Forte and H2 Immunity in my shop. Recently also the molecular hydrogen generator for inhalation.

In the advertising campaign, you personally recommend investing in molecular hydrogen. Can you tell us about the main advantages of such an investment?

Every investor has to be careful when investing. High interest rates often come with a high level of risk. There is a plethora of new startups on the market. That doesn't apply to us. We don't promise big profits. We are a company with a clear structure, and we invest the money we are entrusted with very judiciously in science, research and business activities. All for one purpose. To dominate the global molecular hydrogen market in industries we understand.

The H2 Global Group operates in many different areas: health, spa and wellness, beauty and cosmetics, sports, livestock, agriculture... It's a really wide range. From your point of view, what are the most important target groups of customers you want to reach?

A very difficult question. The potential end customer is actually everyone. It's like apples. Everybody likes them, but usually only mom brings them home to the table. However, companies that care about the mental and physical health of their employees and are willing to offer them something really worthwhile in the form of benefits are also important to us. Not just another pocketknife or flash drive.

Are there any other applications of molecular hydrogen that you can imagine in the future?

It's not so much about areas as it is about solutions. I can imagine the complete implementation of water enriched with molecular hydrogen in modern residential and commercial districts, a kind of hydrogen city - H2 City. Everyone will have an H2 generator at home, they will drink and breathe hydrogen, there will be green oases on the roof where people will grow healthy fruits and water them with hydrogen enriched water, they will have hydrogen cars in their garage...
