Economist by education, optimistic businessman by soul, interested in the human body and its health, practicing a healthy lifestyle based on a reasonably healthy diet and hydrogen alkaline water, playing sports, studying, relaxing in the sauna and ideally with music. Family, friends and well-being are high on his list of values. This is Miroslav Řehulek, Sales Director of H2 World Health & Beauty Company.
How long have you been involved with molecular hydrogen and its beneficial effects and when did you first learn about molecular hydrogen?
Based on a random piece of information I received in January 2019, about the existence of hydrogen-enriched drinking water that can be produced easily at home, I started searching for information from available sources. I also met people who drink water enriched with molecular hydrogen every day. In March 2019, I purchased a home water ionizer, and that was the very beginning of my connection with molecular hydrogen.
H2 Global Group is a world leader and pioneer in the field of hydrogen technology, for various fields of human activity: health, cosmetics, spa, wellness, agriculture, livestock... In which of these fields do you think molecular hydrogen has the greatest future?
The potential of using hydrogen in different areas of life has not yet been fully explored. We read about hydrogen for energy every day, and hydrogen shows promise in the field of mobility. It is therefore logical, and for me personally most interesting, that hydrogen is also being investigated in the area of its effect on the body's cells and the processes that take place there. Research to date and practical experience show that the therapeutic range of molecular hydrogen will be much broader than we know so far. I am a great believer in the usefulness of hydrogen in influencing and correcting negatively acting intracellular processes, as well as in preventing the development of degenerative processes in cells. We will certainly see the use of hydrogen in human and veterinary medicine, as has been the case for several decades in Japan, for example. A segment with endless potential is the care of physical beauty and physical and mental freshness.
In terms of human health - what range of diseases can molecular hydrogen positively influence, i.e. speed up the cure?
Molecular hydrogen has been described as a factor that aids the process of stabilising the disturbed cellular environment in almost 180 degenerative diseases of civilisation. It is therefore not surprising that the influence of hydrogen on the course or healing is gaining momentum. This is happening mainly in Japan, China, South Korea and the USA.
Molecular hydrogen has been shown to have beneficial effects for most patients who have undergone covid. Can it also serve as an effective prevention against covid?
Prevention against any disease-causing pathogen is the targeted achievement and sustained maintenance of a state of equilibrium (homeostasis) in the body cells that make up our entire body. As we already know, molecular hydrogen can significantly eliminate the level of so-called oxidative stress, i.e. physiologically unavoidable biochemical processes that our body should be able to handle on its own thanks to its "built-in" internal regulatory and repair mechanisms. However, we are increasingly seeing that our hectic lifestyles bring with them higher levels of stress. Oxidative stress is caused, among other things, by oxygen free radicals, which cause oxidation of the cell and its internal parts - the cell nucleus, DNA and mitochondria (energy producers). To eliminate oxidation, the cell needs contact with an antioxidant agent - a so-called reductant - so that the internal cellular balance can be restored. Molecular hydrogen appears to be an ideal, highly effective and completely safe reductant. In the preventive action of hydrogen on oxidative stress factors, I see a huge potential for managing oxidative processes in cells and thus for continuously strengthening their physiologically correct development and healthy functioning. As far as covide is concerned, I see the amazing potential of hydrogen in enhancing the healthy life of cells - respiratory, immune, cardiovascular and lymphatic systems of humans. I do not consider covid-19 disease to be something that is different in its effect on the cellular organism from other pathogenesis processes. A scientific study conducted in the Czech Republic has recently demonstrated a very positive effect of inhaled hydrogen on the revitalisation of virus-affected and damaged lung tissue and surrounding anatomical structures. I have already mentioned the preventive effect of hydrogen on the healthy development of cells as well as on their immunity. So yes - molecular hydrogen as an effective prevention of virtually any disease of civilization, respiratory not excluded from this one. Of course, prevention is not just about hydrogen, it is a very complex and intricate system, involving the quality and quantity of the diet taken, the purity of the air breathed, the quality and quantity of the water taken, physical activity, mental strengthening, mind-set and many other factors.
What products are most in demand among H2 Global Group customers at the moment? And do you see any difference in demand for specific products between customers in the Czech Republic and customers in, for example, Hungary or the UK?
Our customers are most interested in nutritional supplements that generate hydrogen in the digestive tract, we call it endogenous hydrogen production. The reason for their interest is the simplicity and affordability of such a solution. Everyone can afford to buy hydrogen-producing tablets. The most demanded by customers are H2 Forte tablets with curcumin and a drink sachet containing H2 Immunity Drink microgranulate. H2 Dent Care tablets, which ensure hydrogen production directly in the oral cavity (tongue, gums, teeth and nerve fibres), are also in demand and are now available with the addition of CBD. Our hydrogen generators for inhalation and production of hydrogenated drinking water are becoming increasingly popular, in particular the H2 Generator i300 for home and office use, or the travel-friendly and easily portable H2 Generator i150. We are just starting our foreign expansion and so far we do not observe any significant differences in the preferences of domestic and foreign clients.
What molecular hydrogen products do you personally use and why?
In my personal "consumption" of molecular hydrogen, I place the most emphasis on drinking highly hydrogenated water daily, of course I use H2 Forte and H2 Dent Care tablets, with one daily serving of H2 Immunity Drink. I ingest inhaled hydrogen from the i300 desktop generator in two half-hourly doses, the first in the morning while working on the computer, and the second in the afternoon during a relaxing half-hour with music, an English podcast, or studying Spanish – I feel that the hydrogen helps me manage the flow of this information to my brain better than when I used to do similar activities without hydrogen.
H2 Global Group's product portfolio is extremely broad. It includes everything from hydrogen generators and inhalers to water ionizers and even dietary supplements. Is this your portfolio already complete or do you have any other important hydrogen products in the pipeline?
Yes, at H2 Global Group we offer a comprehensive range of "hydrogen" products for five different ways of taking hydrogen into the body. Three are internal (generators with inhaler, water ionizers, dietary supplements), two are external (hydrogen bath tablets and hydrogen massage powder). We are the segment leader and set the direction of development. It is understandable that we are thinking about other new products or new forms of administration. We have a corporate technical research and development facility in Ostrava, we are a partner of a local pharmaceutical company where we produce our tablets, we have a scientifically oriented team of renowned experts in the fields of medicine, medicine, biology, physiology, chemistry, integrative medicine, sports medicine. We are developing new products and new solutions for the supporters of molecular hydrogen for therapeutic purposes. Personnel-wise, we are also expanding internally and experiencing rapid growth. We all have something in common – we are fans of hydrogen and therefore carry it not only in our hearts, but literally in all our cells. This is not unusual – in fact, hydrogen penetrates literally every cell of the body, where, thanks to its minimal size, it very easily enters as an observer, diagnostician, donor of antioxidant electrons, promoter of energy production, alkalizing agent, trigger of the cleansing process, balancer of disturbed cellular balance and "rejuvenator". Perhaps that's too much work for the smallest molecule in the universe - an element often neglected by humans, but all the more studied today, from the first position of Mendeleev's periodic table of elements, and already making a significant difference in our future. We will use it to heat our homes, to power our factories, to travel, and to heal ourselves. I believe that as humanity we are on the cusp of a "hydrogen revolution" and I am delighted to be here with my colleagues at H2 Global Group.
