Why do we often feel so tired and exhausted and lack vigour despite the long-awaited positive mood of Mother Nature? This is called "spring lethargy". Although it is not a disease, doctors know it very well: the body adapts to the changes in the weather and the increasingly longer daylight hours. Molecular hydrogen can be one of the helpers in coping with spring fatigue.

The body's rhythm changes and the increasing amount of sunlight causes hormonal changes in the body. Those affected experience this as symptoms of spring lethargy. But here's the good news: the loss of form will last a few weeks at most - and then you can finally switch to full power! It's important to give your body back in spring what it missed during the winter: sun, fresh air and a diet rich in vitamins.

Getting out into nature: sunlight is good for your mood
It's easier to get up in the morning because it gets light earlier. Use the morning hours to walk or run for fitness and cycle to work instead of driving. Being outdoors regularly means you automatically replenish your daylight. This will put you in a good mood, keep you motivated and full of energy for the day. Get out in the fresh air as often as possible: under the influence of daylight, the body synthesises the mood-enhancing hormone serotonin - also known as the happiness hormone - and suppresses the production of melatonin (the sleep hormone). Take your tired limbs out into the sun as often as possible, even if it's still quite cold in the early months of the year.

Hydrogen for a burst of new energy
Hydrogen water can also help get the body's energy flowing. You can either create it at home with hydrogen generators or use bottled water saturated with molecular hydrogen. The Czech leader in hydrogen technology is H2 Medical Technologies from the H2 Global Group. The company has a wide range of devices for home and professional use in its portfolio, both for the creation of hydrogen-rich water or for the inhalation of molecular hydrogen. Another subsidiary of H2 Global Group, H2 Pharm, is the creator of the first Czech bottled hydrogen water with high dissolved hydrogen content, H2 Premium Hydrogen Water. According to laboratory tests, it has the highest dissolved hydrogen content in bottled hydrogen water on the world market thanks to nanobubble technology.

Get your blood flowing
Alternating hot and cold water showers in the morning stimulates blood circulation and ensures good blood circulation to the skin. It's always best to finish your shower with cold water.
Visiting a Finnish sauna, a Roman steam bath or treading cold water according to the teachings of Kneipp are effective ways to fight off the winter blues naturally.

You are what you eat: fresh and healthy foods for more energy
Treat your body to goodness from within and focus on eating fresh, healthy foods. The body needs these nutrients for many metabolic processes, which are activated more strongly in spring. What's more: eating a light diet divided into several small portions a day makes it easier for the body to digest and helps the body get back into top gear more quickly. You can enrich your diet with salads, fruits and vegetables. These contain important vitamins, roughage and minerals that the body needs, especially during the transition from winter to spring.
