Patients of the Ostrava dental clinic ajna can experience the effects of molecular hydrogen after dental procedures directly at their dentist as the first in the world. The clinic's management joined forces with the Ostrava-based company H2 Global Group, which supplied unique devices and products to help patients with their recovery. "Available research shows that molecular hydrogen helps speed up healing and reduce pain. And that's exactly what we want to bring to AJNA clinic clients. And this is just the beginning," says David Maršálek, President of H2 Global Group, about the groundbreaking innovation, which they have patented.

Drilling, tearing, implant placement. A dental treatment is still a stressful and painful experience for many people, even though today's dentistry offers many soothing products and takes care to be as considerate as possible to the patient. "We're always looking for ways to make people's time at the dentist more pleasant - to ease their pain and speed up wound healing after extractions or other dental procedures," explains Lubomír Beran, an experienced dentist and expert guarantor of the Ostrava private clinic and dental emergency room AJNA.

When he read several scientific articles and studies about the effects of molecular hydrogen some time ago, he did not hesitate to try it on himself first and was very pleasantly surprised because he soon felt full of energy. "I am 72 years old and I am definitely not going to retire. Nevertheless, I sometimes feel fatigue on myself. After inhaling hydrogen and drinking hydrogen water regularly, I feel much better, which is why I decided to offer it to all our patients after major procedures."

Lubomír Beran has teamed up with H2 Global Group, a world leader in molecular hydrogen. "After an agreement with Dr. Beran, we delivered our H2 hydrogen generators i300, H2 Water Generator Professional and Wellness Multifunctional Hydrogen Generator 6in1 to the AJNA clinic in the centre of Ostrava and to the new clinic in Ostrava-Vítkovice, thanks to which patients can not only inhale molecular hydrogen but also create hydrogen-saturated water. In addition, we particularly recommend H2 Dent Care tablets to AJNY clients. These release molecular hydrogen on contact with saliva in the mouth, which has regenerative and antioxidant effects," says David Maršálek, president of H2 Global Group.

Hydrogen as an assistant in the dentist's office
In practice, after the dentist's care, the patient is transferred to the dental hygienist's office, who places the client in a chair, puts on a pair of glasses and starts inhaling hydrogen from a generator to the sound of pleasant music. The client is also offered hydrogen-saturated water followed by 30 minutes of relaxation.

"In the new clinic, we have set aside an entire room for hydrogen therapy. We have three extremely comfortable chairs there, and for a small fee, patients from all of our practices can go there after their procedures to relax and inhale hydrogen." Stress is one of the reasons for the release of free radicals in the cells of the human body. According to current scientific evidence, taking molecular hydrogen keeps free radicals in balance with positive-acting antioxidants.

"Dr. Beran is a pioneer in the field of hydrogen dentistry and together we have registered a patent for a special dental applicator that targets hydrogen directly to a specific tooth or affected area. In addition to dental offices, we are also supplying our devices to physiotherapists, cardiologists and psychiatrists, following the example of Japan, where hydrogen is used in more than 500 clinics, because hydrogen has also been proven to help people with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, for which we have registered another patent," says David Maršálek, President of H2 Global Group.

"Molecular hydrogen is anti-inflammatory and, as the most powerful selective antioxidant, selectively neutralizes downright harmful free radicals and acid metabolites. It thus protects the cells of the human body in a fundamental way," explains Shigeo Ohta, Japanese professor of biomedicine and vice president for science and research at H2 Global Group, who came to see the opening of the clinic in person. "The hydrogen molecules have an anti-inflammatory effect, dampening the overreaction of our immune system and allowing the patient to heal, recover and rehabilitate faster."

Hydrogen future
"I came to hydrogen through our partner organisation, H2 Global Group, with whom we are currently working on some very exciting joint projects that will help us help people even more effectively. From them I learned that molecular hydrogen really has a significantly positive effect on our body and tangibly helps to overcome stress. The feedback from our patients so far has been excellent. They especially praise the faster wound healing and less pain," adds Beran.

According to David Maršálek, the dental practice is just the first of many where the molecular hydrogen to help. "Our devices and products are increasingly used by spas, wellness centres and beauty salons because hydrogen acts as a catalyst for conventional spa treatments and helps to accelerate and enhance their effects. We are approached not only by spas and dental practices, but by doctors from a wide variety of industries who want our unique know-how in the application of hydrogen in their practices and facilities. It won't be long before hydrogen therapies will be a common part of patient care in almost all branches of medical care, as is already common in Japan, as molecular hydrogen can help as a supportive agent in standard treatment, but also as a prevention of disease or in recovery," concludes the President of H2 Global Group.
